There is a fear that resides in all of us. We all fear being broken. A broken heart, broken promises, broken bones. For once we are broken we are ultimately, never to be the same again. Sure, we'll look the same on the outside, but our inner soul and spirit will be cracked, scarred, different. The stunning art of Kintsukuroi shows us that we are more beautiful for being broken, The cracks are filled with gold or silver laquor, leaving shiny, beautiful wounds.
